RABBITS!

The rabbit population of Australia grew exponentially after their introduction. In the absence of immunocontraceptive
technologies, similar problems would occur in any predator-free wild-life park of the future. A common knee-jerk response
to the prospect of reprogramming or phasing out predators is to invoke the food chain - and assume without further ado
that any proponent of a predator-free biosphere must be biologically illiterate. By contrast, careful consideration of the
ecological dynamics of a cruelty-free world is vanishingly rare.
